gacha is a young artist originally from georgia, now operating in berlin, this second ep for apollo records is an excellent six tracker that fits the apollo chillout manifesto perfectly. his music is a cinematic, glacial mix of beautiful melodies, treated guitars and tender drum programming, and two tracks on this release see him working in tandem with natalie beridze who adds her ethereal vocals for standout tracks *saysea* and *atlas*. elsewhere on the ep gacha continues the form of his last ep, working his influences from classic electronica to garage into his trademark deep and atmospheric sound.

working together in person has been an important point in cavaans collaborations lately - much preferring the human interaction and local landscapes over the soulless exchange of sound files over the internet. with this point taken care of, the two cavaan guys struck out in a berlin, heidelberg and venice studio. while the awesomeness of the cities kept the team quiet the landscape nonetheless teamed with sounds.

we stick with our concept for the second release. putting some of our own and some of our good friends music on a v/a ep. this time we have bartellow, a dedicated musician with several projects and bands. spirits combines his disco-affinity with raw deep house sounds and an ecstatic vocal sample. lewy l is the pseudonym for collaborations within our very family. getting rid of limitations this is the name we put our jam sessions results abigail brought a collabo track with nubody from melbourne from the time he spent living in australia last but not least its einerweniger, long time friend from munich with his typically groovy approach on house music. there will be more of him in future productions.

animal 004 introduces the alchemyst project by the two argentinian techno artist julixo and frederik who show us two creations of metallic dub techno and raw beat structures. on the b side code is law mastermind moerbeck puts some spooky atmosphere to the title track and monomood turns lucy into a chord driven funk monster.

the white man & the arab – blm & soho decide to revisit the partnership that gave us future moves ep. the resulting second ep - misanthropy - while roughly following the same mood of their first release, shows the two producers becoming more attuned to each others strengths and sounding more and more like one well-oiled unit. clocking in at around 20 minute mark, were treated to three cuts of pure deep bliss, each with its own distinct flavour.
